Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using our services.
1. Agreement for Service
The terms set out in these Conditions of Service ("Agreement") shall apply to the service ("Service") we provide to service your smartphone, tablet, computer and/or any accessories ("Device") on the service check-in form.
Reference to "us", "we" and "our" refer to ExpressFix and references to "you" and "your" are references to you ("Customer"), the person addressed on this form.
2. Service Terms
We shall make reasonable efforts to service your Device subject to the availability of any parts required. We shall perform the Service using our utmost care and skill.
We shall use Genuine, OEM or High Quality compatible parts for the services of all Devices.
We shall require the passcode of your Device in order to test the Device before and after the Service.
Any time estimate for completion of the service is an estimate only. Board Level (Level 3) repairs may take at least 5 working days to be completed.
We shall notify you when the Device has been serviced. If necessary, we shall send a reminder and the device will be recycled if not collected by day 90.
If we are unable to complete the Service, we will notify you immediately. We reserve the right to charge an inspection fee if no fault is found.
The cost of service will be calculated in accordance with our standard charges as published from time to time.
We shall be entitled to keep your Device until all charges payable have been paid.
Use of our service may void your manufacturer's warranty. If you would like to avoid this, please take your Device directly to the manufacturer.
Warranty Terms (Section 2.12)
3. Liability
Our entire liability in respect of any single cause of action arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be limited to:
- Supplying the Services again
- Payment of the cost of having the Services supplied again
- Repaying you any amount that you have paid in respect of the Services
Important Notice - Data Backup
Any data or information that you may have stored on the Device shall remain your sole responsibility. We accept no liability for loss or corruption of such data however caused. We highly recommend that you back up your Device before commissioning our Service.
4. Data Protection
We ask for your name and address and other details so that we can notify you when your Device has been serviced and provide you with an efficient after-sales service. We may also send you text messages and/or emails from time to time to alert you to new services and promotions.
5. Summary Points
- Use of our service may void your manufacturer's warranty
- We highly recommend backing up your Device before service
- We do not take responsibility for progression in damage for liquid-damaged Devices
- Warranty terms vary by service type (see table above)
- At all times we will do our utmost to deliver on the quoted turn-around time
- If your device is serviced by a 3rd party after our service, your warranty will be voided
